The Catholic Guides of Ireland in accordance with our Safeguarding Policy and our legislative requirements have agreed this Child Safeguarding Statement which is binding on all members and Units of our Association. 

The Catholic Guides of Ireland is fully committed to safeguarding the well-being of its membership.  At all times members should show respect and understanding for each other’s rights, safety and welfare and conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the principles of the Association. 

We are committed to ensuring that our volunteers and staff are carefully selected, trained and supervised and that our children and young people know how to voice their concerns and fully utilise the reporting and complaints procedure if they find there is something, they are not happy about.
